At their April 24th meeting, the Board of Education accepted the recommendation of the Catchment Area Review Team, deciding not to make any adjustments to the current boundary seperating Suwilaawks Community School from Cassie Hall Elementary in Terrace. The district team, led by Secretary Treasurer Ginger Fuller, had brought forth a proposal to the Board of Education at their January meeting which saw an adjustment to the boundary leading to an eventual increase in enrolment at Cassie Hall Elementary. However, during community consultation sessions in March, concerns were presented regarding the safety of students travelling to school, leading to the recommendation not to alter the existing boundary.

For the 2024-25 school year, restrictions to Cross Boundary applications will remain in place for Suwilaawks Community School.
