Operating System and Software Updates
The IT department is responsible for maintaining your school district computers operating system and software. To accomplish this, we schedule operating system updates and some applications to deploy and update to your computer automatically over the district computer network. When this occurs, you may receive a notification to ‘Install Updates and Shutdown’. You may either choose to do this immediately, or you may shut down without installing the updates and update at a later time. Aside from choosing when to install these updates, no further attention is required.
